THE NEXT FAIR FOR COMMUNITY CATERING IN DIRECT MANAGEMENT IS PLACED IN THE SIGN OF INNOVATION
The next Exhibition of Community catering in Direct Management will be held on Wednesday 29 March 2017 in Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Hall 5.1). Placed under the theme of innovation, this unavoidable meeting of the sector will bring again concrete solutions and tools to the players of the profession. In constant growth, the Salon will welcome nearly 210 exhibitors this year (+ 10%). The different spaces of the Salon have been redesigned for optimized circulation and experience. New in 2017: the Restau’co Innovation Trophies, open to all players in the sector. Rendez-vous on March 29th to fill up with information and news!
THE OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL RENDEZ-VOUS
The Restor’Co Direct Catering Show is the only national exhibition in the sector. It is aimed at all professionals in the catering industry (cooks and production managers, dieticians, catering engineers, quality managers …), future professionals in the sector (apprentices, students) and consultant and training professionals (guidance counselors, trainers …). Designed to bring concrete solutions to the players in the sector, both in school catering (39% of collective catering) and medical-social catering (39%) and business catering (14%), it also aims to be a crossroads of meetings and exchanges on the novelties of the profession.
A SALON IN CONSTANT EVOLUTION
Since 2014 and the move from Porte de Champerret to Porte de Versailles (+ 15% of exhibitors, + 20% of visitors), the Collective Catering Exhibition continues to grow in power in parallel with the common awareness around the economic weight of the catering sector. This year, nearly 210 exhibitors (+ 10%) and 4500 visitors (+ 35%) are expected.
NEWS 2017: RESTAU’CO INNOVATION TROPHIES
For this edition, the Salon will innovate and organize the 1st edition of the Restau’Co Innovation Trophies. They are divided into four categories (food / equipment and hygiene / adherents / hope) and will reward innovative products, personalities and initiatives. Awarded in mid-January 2017, the winners will be highlighted in a dedicated space on the show.
A NEW CONFIGURATION OF SPACE
• Restoration space becomes “La Place Restau’Co” The space will be redesigned in a circle to reproduce the conviviality of the village square.
The different catering stands, inspired by food trucks, will be organized by theme: meat, cheese, vegetables … The culinary demonstrations, inaugurated in 2015, will be repatriated to the heart of the catering space.
• The conference room opens and becomes a space for debates. The round tables will be replaced by mini-debates launched throughout the day, to encourage interaction between participants and visitors. The discussion area will be equipped with a coffee corner to encourage visitors to listen to the debates and debate among themselves around a coffee.
A RESPONSIBLE SALON
Responsible catering will once again be at the heart of the Salon’s issues:
• The anti-waste initiative inaugurated in 2015 is renewed: food not consumed on the show will be collected and redistributed the same evening by the association Les Œuvres de la Mie de Pain. In the previous edition, this initiative resulted in the recovery of two tons of food.
• The Show provides for equal promotion of all members and partners: the central aisle is reserved primarily for new entrants and stands of 9m2, which guarantees a balanced representation of the players in the sector.
